The Blood Poet Trilogy…

Blood poet... pt1

Dampen my quill,

I'm dripping with your sorrow,

I ache to write,

The hurt you once deserved,

I'm burgundy red,

Upon drenched straw,

Legend will be told,

Where you laid,

Your severed head,

Tears will flow to all...

Blood Poet pt2...

If I bled for nothing more,

Cruelty kept knocking at my door,

Where for art thou?

Where for art thou?

I prayed to god that you came to me,

I prayed to god that it's me you seen,

For I'd undress your robe,

This wasn't false hope,

You were your kingdom!

You shielded behind a table of women,

You raised gauntlets with riches around you,

I may be a jester or poet, but I seen the truth!

You were trapped within castle walls,

You were tortured, but I felt your gay heart,

The look you gave me showed strength,

When you kissed me, I lost my breath,

You were so ashamed,

I wished that you were brave!

Tears fell, as I touched your pain,

Why did you have to leave me?

I'm broken without you,

Everyday I read your letter,

I long for your lips just once more,

With every second, it's harder to breathe...

Blood Poet pt3...

I want to tell your people of who you were, as to me you were somebody real,

Your letter read:

To end life, is my answer,

To live a lie, I'm a shadow dying,

Without my lover, I'm a dagger on the battlefield,

Killing one's love and willing to yield my land,

I roam my empire, whispering what I have found to no one,

The haunted corridors reminding me of how alone I am,

I've conquered many a land, dethroned many a man,

For you, my people I'm sorry,

This is my farewell,

This is my farewell.

So, to this I must reply:

I danced around fires, pretending you were with me in the wind,

We drank, we sang, I seen your face in the flickering flames,

Burning images of our affair,

Ashes rising to the stars,

Wondering if the God's care,

Thinking of you laid bare,

Shameless and unaware,

I'm that shadow too,

With your very own dagger,

It's you! I lovingly choose,

I'm coming with you…

The warm crushing waves cover my body,

My vessel I sacrifice, only to caress your lips once again,

A river of black, red shimmering from the Smokey blue moon,

It's for your embrace, and your love that I'm willing to die soon,

You were my coat of arms,

I believe in our love,

A dagger through my heart,

And this poet is done!

You are my daily bread,

So,

To this land, it's farewell.
