‘Tis a Wish of Mine…
Upon dancing stars I sit, but yet wander,
The mind escapes from heavy sight,
Breeze, a violin symphony across the skin,
Clouds dressed in moonlight, as I ponder.
Silence, a veil to unburden a gentle ache,
Tranquility bestowed a utopian soul,
Stillness of the night, willing me to dream,
Ink ridden sky, mirrors a different face.
Future, like a bullet through society,
Air, perfumed with a dusting of rain,
Breath in front of me, echoing fear,
As droplets appear, I sense self purity.
I'm changing, a fading silhouette of night,
A bruised, drenched light forming hope,
A story?
A wish?
A romantic love of life?
Shadows wade, as my heart takes flight.
To be happy,
To be me,
As I gaze through liquid sky,
'Tis only but a dream?
'Tis just a Wish of Mine...
