Once We Breathe...
A mushroom quilt is where I lay my liquid body, I breathe with blades of grass with a fountain of hysteria,
Drip after drip I taste the liqueured roots, quenching my thirst with ghosts as I search for a distant euphoria,
Corridors of synthetic reality, lights pulsing with an anxious heartbeat,
Feeling my way through nightmares, only to visit an entity of my dream.
Once we breathe, we come one,
Once we have vision, sight is gone,
Once we breathe, it won't be long,
Once we listen, we'll become strong.
Echoed voices surround this elysian paradise as construction of the new world appears,
A haunted vision propelled a technological age as A.I controlled and instilled fear,
The skies crying, cracking like eggshell but life as we know it has dissipated,
Soakened with the blood of our own behavior, no longer is the world awakened.
Rebirth with every tear, mother nature speaks of souls that walk forever,
Rivers flow amongst the land that breaks like bone and turns life into stone,
Harmonious humans roam sacred paths living a life they thought was never,
Singing with birdsong, walking with beasts, breathing with trees I am not alone.
Once we breathe, we come one,
Once we have vision, sight is gone,
Once we breathe, it won't be long,
Once we listen, we'll become strong.
A choir of angelic souls undress the earth once more,
Starting again,
Life unconditionally pours,
We must breathe,
We must have vision,
It's not a dream,
We only have to listen,
Once we breathe,
Rebirth is real,
Once we breathe,
Once we breathe...
