Decorate Me...

I rise like the sun and hide like the moon, Standing naked,

Judgement day is welcomed soon.

If the Lord is my shepard,

For what do I hold as a weapon,

Am I merciful for whom I claim to be,

When the day comes, will I be judged free.

The wind whistled through his arms out wide,

Do I swim in this ocean or do I drown in high tide,

I feel the silence as waves wash upon my guilty vessel,

Do I preach to jesus or pretend to be a manufactured apostle.

With every mound of mother nature's land decorating my coffin,

I stare at the sky emotionless, breathless with absolutely nothing,

Do I know what's next?

No.

I'm more than words,

I have a heart and soul that leaves this earth,

Make me smile,

Make me real,

Make me cry,

Just make me feel,

Please!

Decorate me beneath these blades of grass,

Instead of in the ground, let's have one last dance.

Life.
