Blood Rose…
I held you, even when your thorns pricked my skin,
You bewitched me with your scent, you nearly killed,
You ran deep, I felt you run down my throat,
The more I tasted, the more I stayed afloat,
You're my blood rose,
How you taste so good...
You battered and bruised,
Made my life hell!
Put my emotions on mute,
I had nobody to tell!
I was drowning in your bitterness and you suffocated my life,
I had tears, with solid oak doors shutting night after night,
The sound of the key turning, echoed into my aching heart,
You left me stranded, bitten, as the moon shone in the dark,
Now that the burning is running through my veins, I'm one of you!
We'll run wild and swim in red, the world isn't ready for the truth,
The thirst is overpowering, I want to give my body a rose blood waterfall,
Panting!
Eyes wandering!
I'm a predator, wanting my prey in the dark.
The moon has called,
Dressed in Petals,
Hanging,
Dripping,
I suppose you're…
My succulent blood rose.
