What Am I, Without You?

For what is a breath, if I don't live?
For what is a nights sleep, If I don't dream?
As the trees stand tall and the sun beats down, I see lifes diamond in gleam.

For what is love, if I can't be with you?
For what is fear, if I don't stare at your gaze?
As the shadows walk around and I'm standing still, just to feel the machine.

For what is a cold wind, if you kept me warm?
For what is a raindrop, if I'm inside your heart?
As the mountain keeps growing and so did my love, the world tells me it is alive.

For what is a kiss, if I can't feel your lips?
For what are my eyes, if I can't see your beauty?
As I lay you to rest with flowers on top of your vessel,

The life you left was with a blessing...
We were blessed too.
