Roses Are Red…
Today is the day when I'm proposing to my girl,
Today is the day when everything changes in my world,
We're driving to our favourite place, I let the feeling of love linger,
I see the warmth and beauty on her face, I have the ring for her finger.
She bares the fruits of our love, I can't contain myself,
We've even decorated her room, only 3 month left,
For her to be a wonderful mother, I have total faith,
The little heartbeat is so magical, we've even chose a name.
Bright lights suddenly came towards us, everything became blurred,
Blue flashing lights blinded me from my love, the sirens I never heard,
I shouted for my wife to be, but not a sound came from my world,
Deafening silence from what has occurred, tears ran with blood as I lost my girl.
Her face was blue,
Roses are red,
She died on impact,
That's what they said.
I couldn't comprehend my best friend had gone,
Even at the funeral I couldn't keep myself strong,
As the coffins were going into the ground, a waterfall of roses sheltered their soul,
As I stood there listening to violin sound, I fell to my knees, I knew I was alone.
Today is the day I say goodbye, to not just my wife to be, but my unborn child,
Today is the day that my heart isn't mine, I gave it away in the tears I cried.
Roses are red,
They died on impact,
It should've been me,
As my heart bled...
