Why do we look to the moon if our name is written in the stars?

When we sleep at night why do we search for who we are?

Why do we seek the silence in droplets of rainfall?

When the echo of undying love consumes the dark.

When tears from the sky drench the limits of humankind,

From the old world to new, we're drowning and not asking why,

Why!

This world is bleeding,

Are you blind or are you seeing,

I need faith in the living,

I need another hopeless reason.

When the eyes of a child starts to cry,

Is it not time for us to use our mind?

When the promise dissolves and hate becomes life,

Is it not time for us to use our heart and just smile?

We're the ones that condition our young,

We need to look at ourselves and see the truth,

To the people of this world who's holding the gun,

Everything doesn't have to be political proof!
